1 Day Tiling NVQ Assessment

EWPA is a 1 day assessment route for wall & floor tilers who have experience in their trade and require a NVQ Level 2 wall and floor tiling qualification. In general you should have 5 years experience, but can be possible with less. This option has been made available to help time served tilers get the qualification they need to work on site quickly and easily so to gain their Blue CSCS card.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

Full NVQ Level 2 qualification for all Wall and Floor Tilers with 5 or more years experience via Experienced Worker Practical Assessment Route.

Goldtrowel is approved by CITB/CSkills to help skilled tilers obtain an NVQ. The process is straightforward and can be completed in a short time frame (1 day of practical work plus a skills assessment) if all necessary evidence is available.

Goldtrowel provides a quick way for experienced tilers to obtain Wall and Floor Tiling qualifications. If you have significant experience, you can meet with an assessor to discuss how to achieve the NVQ needed for construction site work.

We have all necessary assessment procedures, qualified staff, and supportive facilities to help you earn your NVQ. To qualify for the Experienced Worker Practical Assessment (EWPA), candidates should:

Have site or domestic experience in all required tiling skills.
Be accustomed to planning their work, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines related to tiling installations.
Be prepared for a rigorous practical assessment.
Work safely at all times.
Be able to discuss their work with others.

The NVQ Level 2 includes several mandatory units that you will complete.

QCF642: - Conform to efficient work practices
QCF643: - Move and handle resources
QCF141v3: - Prepare background surfaces (wall & floor)
QCF142v3: - Tile background surfaces (wall and floor)
